Diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and an Intellectual Disability, Mahalakshmi was completely dependent in ADLs, and did not have any independent mobility. After joining the EI program at 5 years old, she is now able to walk without support, is independent and is enrolled in a mainstream school.
